Reclaiming Lich-King Jesus for the Faith
Christianity has a long history of taking things that were used to mock it and using it for good. The term "Christian" was originally an insult directed at Christians during the persecutions against them. Lately there has been an abundance of things on the internet referencing "Zombie Jesus". Usually this comes up around Easter time, but I've seen a lot of it lately as well. Now, I contend that the proper form of address is "Lich-King Jesus" and I shall tell you why.
The Heartland Proclamation
Hey all. Through Phae_girl, I came across this thinger called the Heartland Proclamation. It's essentially a statement by a bunch of pastors in the middle of the country affirming their support of LGBT rights in religious and secular contexts. Now I'm going to tell you where they're wrong.

I Hate Comcast
The title really says it all. This company, like the massive telephone monopolies of old, wants more than anything to be the only kid in the internet/TV/phone sandbox, and so far they are doing a fairly good job of it. They regularly block content that they don't approve of, all the while giving lip-service to the concept of net neutrality. And today, through the dust-kicking of another company, they have officially broken me from my stoicism and I feel the need to rage, both to get some of this frustration out of me and to make more people aware of what is going on.
