Do you ever get the feeling that no matter how hard you try, how much effort you put into your life, your always going to be just a little behind where you want to be? This seems to be where I spend most of my time and I know that most of it is self indused. I just wish that every now and then all the effort would pay off.
I tend to put my energy into several things at once untill one of them begins to weild results, then I focus all my energy on that one thing and try and get it to a point where it can, in one way or another, autopilot itself. What do you do though when all of your options tend to not want to give or you see something that you once gave up on yeild results for someone else?
Fuck it, more power to em’.

On an unrelated note it seems NPR and in specific “All Things Considered” did a bad yesterday. Let me explain…
First, a little back story.
Zoe Keating is a cellist. Once upon a time she was a member of one of my favorite bands Rasputina. She is now doing some amazing things with her cello. She was on ‘Radiolab‘ a while back for those of you that listen. If you don’t, you should.
Ok, we all up to speed? Yesterday ‘All Things Considered‘ used a piece of her music as a bumper between segments without her permission. I have always wondered if they even bothered to ask all the musicians whose work they use as bumpers for permission, or even let them know they used it at all. Guess I now know.
Shame on you NPR.
You would have people belive that you are out there helping unknown and experimental artists and in the end you fuck them just like everyone else. It is shameful and underhanded to use peoples work without so much as a plug.
Grrr, it get me all testy and shit.
Anyway, if you would like to know more check out the article over at Coilhouse. They talked to her and stuff.
Thanks to Wil Wheaton, yes you heard me right, for the info.
